Firebaugh-Las Deltas Unified School District Home

The Firebaugh-Las Deltas Unified School District (FLDUSD) Board of Trustees appointed Dr. RoseMary Parga Duran as Interim Superintendent, effective May 28, 2025. Dr. Parga Duran will serve as Interim Superintendent while the Board conducts its search for a permanent Superintendent. 
 
Dr. Parga Duran brings a long-standing commitment to public education and a wealth of leadership experience. Dr. Duran retired from Merced City School District as Superintendent, where she served 14 elementary schools, four middle schools, one Community Day School and a district-wide preschool program. Her background also includes Associate Superintendent, School Principal and Assistant Principal. She has taught at the elementary, middle and college levels. Most recently, Dr. Parga Duran successfully completed an Interim Superintendent Assignment at DPOL.
